River Heights City residents have expressed concerns about continual dog barking during the day and night, which is against our city ordinance. (See 5-1-2, Disturbing the Peace, 5-4-5, Noise as a Nuisance and 5-2-5:H.6) To report a barking dog, call Dispatch at 716-9400. Violaters can be cited.

The Cache County Sheriff’s Office is sponsoring a basic Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) course and all community members are invited to participate. Classes begin Thursday, August 27th. The deadline for filing for candidacy was June 8. River Heights City has three open council seats for 2016. Those who filed were: Robert “K” Scott Dixie Wilson Blake Wright No primary will be held. The November election will only be held if a write-in candidate files by September 4.
