River Heights City Planning Commission
Notice of Public Hearings
The River Heights City Planning Commission will hold three public hearings on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, beginning at 6:30 pm to discuss two Conditional Use Permit Applications for rental of classrooms in the Old River Heights School, located at 420 South 500 East. Brittany Cascio has requested one classroom for an on-site photography studio/small event space. The Cache Valley Humanitarian Center has requested the use of the gym/stage and four rooms for the purpose of putting together necessity kits and sleeping mats for those in need in Cache Valley. The third hearing will be to discuss revisions to the city’s subdivision ordinance (links listed below), addition of micro-schools and other minor changes to the city code. The meeting will be held in the River Heights City Building located at 520 South 500 East. Written comment, addressed to Commissioner Noel Cooley, will be accepted up until noon on the date of the meeting.
