The River Heights City Council will fill a vacancy on the City Council at their regularly scheduled council meeting on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 6:45 p.m., to be held in the River Heights City Building at 520 South 500 E.
Per Utah Code 20A-9-203: An individual may become a candidate for any municipal office if:
- the individual is a registered voter; and
- the individual has resided within the municipality in which the individual seeks to hold elective office for 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of mid-term vacancy appointment.
Interested individuals wanting to be considered for appointment to fill the vacancy can submit their name to Recorder Sheila Lind at [email protected]. The deadline for doing so is Thursday, July 2nd at 2:30 pm.
